Welcome to Falcons
Year 1/2 Falcons class is taught by Mrs Gilby. This is where the children begin Key Stage One. The classroom is equipped with computers, an Interactive Whiteboard, and iPads. Falcons’ classroom is a light and airy learning environment full of resources. It leads out onto an outside balcony area which is used as an extension of the classroom for outdoor learning and play. The children follow a broad and balanced curriculum, including forest school, global learning and world explorer days. They are encouraged to work both independently and with others during lessons to support their learning. Everyone is supported and challenged in order they can become responsible, independent and resilient learners who feel safe to take risks.
