The Little Owls looked for nature in our outdoor area, identifying daffodils, buds, stem, soil, leaves and other features.  They used the clipboards to check off what they found.
The Little Owls have continued their traditional tales theme with Goldilocks and the 3 Bears.  The children have used great story language and voices to retell the story.  We used the bear theme to carry out an experiment with gummy bears and water.  The children thought really hard about what might happen to the gummy bears, including, “the water might change colour” and “the bear might get bigger “
The Little Owls have been listening to the story of the Little Red Hen and were keen to make some bread!  We weighed out the ingredients and used our muscles to mix it all together in the bowl. We put what we had learned from our dough disco sessions into practice, to knead and shape the dough.  We all waited very patiently for our turn and listened well to instructions.
