Falcons’ new DT project is to design and make a puppet. As a first look into this unit, we talked about different types of puppets and made small Halloween paper puppets. 
Falcons are now looking at the question 'would you want to be a Victorian child?' To start this off, we had a go at making Victorian era toys, we made a thaumatrope and a spinning top.
 
Falcons have been in the innovation stage of their writing this week. They are writing a poem about plants. We used big sheets of paper to draw and write words, phrases and rhymes that came to our minds when we thought about different plants. 
As part of their Health and Fitness unit in PE, Falcons were looking at mental and physical well-being this week. We used a Cosmic Kids yoga adventure of the Nutcracker to help us stretch and calm our minds.
