Eagles have been exploring Swing music this term and today we used a variety of instruments to improvise to a swing drum beat loop. 
 
 
Eagles have been exploring the force of air resistance and this week created parachutes. We timed each other's parachutes to drop from the balcony and then discussed the features of the designs which effectively increased the impact of air resistance. 
Eagles class read ‘A Computer Called Katherine’ text and discussed the content together. We explored why achievements in the past by women and people who are black were not always celebrated at the time. The children then identified stereotypes of jobs and interests that didn’t used to be associated with women.
