The Little Owls have settled beautifully into the Nursery routine this week.  We have been talking about families, things we like to do with our Mums and Dads, extended family and our homes.

The Little Owls have been on a bear hunt this week.  We've used props to retell and act out the story, explored textures in a sensory tray and tried some printing.  We even made masks and  used collage to decorate bear faces.

This week the Little Owls have continued to think about their families.  We have also looked at ourselves closely, naming features and talking about similarities and differences.  We used mirrors to help us produce a self portrait and Mr Potato head sparked conversations around facial features whilst developing our fine motor skills.
