What a week it has been already for Falcon Class! Starting with gardening on Monday, the children had a fantastic time exploring the produce in the garden which has been growing throughout the summer and picking those which are ready. We were amazed by the size of some of the vegetables! In Science, the Year 2s explored the big question ‘Do people with bigger hands have bigger feet?’ They had great fun collaborating in order to measure each and answer the question. The children loved their forest school sessions where they either had the opportunity to let their imaginations run wild and explore the fantastic area or had a go at drilling and sawing wood. As if this was not enough, already only two weeks in, we have seen some amazing writing from both Year 1 and 2 children based on our class story ‘Oi Frog’.

Falcons Class have had a fantastic first week back! They have started to settled really well into new routines and have enjoyed taking part in activities to become more familiar with their new classroom layout.

Falcon Class loved exploring their sense of taste this week in Science. They tasted a range of different foods and chose adjectives to describe.
