Kestrels have made a positive start to the new term and have thought hard about how to be more respectful at school and at home. We have started a new topic in Science and have learned all about the digestive system, watching how the stomach acids break down food before passing into the small intestine.
This week Kestrels have enjoyed combining art with science by designing human teeth from clay. We learned all about Picasso during World Explorer Day and enjoyed a game of pin the nail on the map of Spain to find the secret treasure!
Another week has flown by with Kestrels! We have tackled some tricky maths together, aced doodle tables as a class and come up with some fantastic poetry. Special thanks to our class monitors, who take on extra responsibility every week! Your help makes our classroom a better place to learn!Â
