Kestrels have bravely got stuck into life in Year 3 and 4 and have experienced a wide range of subjects already, including Art, Science, History and PE. We have been getting used to new routines and expectations as well as making new friends. Our day trip to East Soar was a wonderful opportunity for play and adventure, as well as learning about the way the land and animals are farmed. We loved seeing the cows, horses and donkeys. Everyone had the chance to feed the sheep and there was even time for games, den building, tree climbing and football!Â
We have had another action packed week in Kestrels. The highlight of the week was our cross-country trip to Stover. Out of over 800 children, our class managed to win three medals! Everyone ran to the finish line and there was a real feeling of comradery amongst the children.Â
